When you submit a contact or availability request, you agree that we may respond by email or phone using the details you provide. A quote is an invitation to book and may be subject to vehicle availability, identity verification, and acceptance of rental conditions.
4. Eligibility to rent

5. Deposits, payments, and authorisations
A deposit may be required at pickup and is typically held as a pre-authorisation on a payment card. Deposit amounts and release timing depend on the vehicle category, insurance selection, and your card issuer. We explain the deposit amount in your written quote and at pickup.
6. Insurance guidance
We provide an insurance summary as part of your quote and explain common terms such as excess. The summary is not a substitute for the full policy wording issued by insurers. If you have questions, request clarification before confirming.
7. Vehicle use rules
You agree to use the vehicle responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and the rental agreement. Prohibited uses may include reckless driving, unauthorised drivers, towing without permission, carrying hazardous goods, or using the vehicle for illegal activity. If you are unsure whether a use is allowed, ask before pickup.
8. Pickup, inspection, and returns
At pickup, we conduct a check-in inspection and document the vehicle condition. At return, we inspect again and provide a receipt. Late returns may incur additional charges as described in your quote or rental agreement. Please notify us as early as possible if your return time changes.
9. Fuel, mileage, and fees
Fuel expectations and mileage guidance are described in your quote and/or rental agreement. Additional charges may apply for missing fuel, excessive dirt, smoking in the vehicle, lost keys, or damage beyond normal wear. We aim to explain charges clearly and provide supporting details where relevant.
10. Cancellations and changes
Availability can change quickly. If you need to cancel or modify dates, contact us as soon as possible. Any cancellation or change terms, including refunds if applicable, will be provided in writing for your booking. We will always aim to handle changes fairly and transparently.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, HarborDrive is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website or from delays or interruptions beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Complaints and disputes
If you have a concern, contact us first so we can investigate and resolve it promptly. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Courts located in Ireland will have jurisdiction over disputes, unless mandatory consumer laws in your country require otherwise.
